The Dallas Education Foundation (https://dallasedfound.org) is pleased to offer the Liza Farrow-Gillespie Intrepid Young Woman Scholarship to three outstanding female students in the 2026 graduating class of Skyline High School (one recipient) and Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet (two recipients). Each awardee will be a young woman who is interested in pursuing a career in law and will be awarded $10,000 each towards the pursuit of a degree at a four-year university or college. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Applicants must be Spring 2026 Female Dallas ISD Graduating Seniors and who attend either Skyline High School - Legal Studies Program or the Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet.  

Applicants must be interested in pursuing a career in law and enrolled full time in a four-year college or university during the 2026-2027 school year.  

Students must submit a completed application, including an essay, transcript, and letter of recommendation to be considered.
